Winsor & Newton Artists watercolor paint box around 1862 Not for sale     Wanted paint blocks that say Winsor & Newton that look like the ones above                  WINSOR NEWTON PALETTE In this box     c. 1862 Medium Oval Palette and logo detail     c.1862 Winsor And Newton 3 well palette and logo on back     Water glasses in this box   These are 12 Sided clear glass with notches in top rim They are 2 1/2 inch across at the top and 1 1/2 inch or so high They usually have a star pattern in the bottom but not always          Early Winsor & Newton Antique Watercolor catalog c.1860 about the same date as the box above   This 150+ year old catalog of Winsor Newton watercolor supplies in from c.1860 showing paint, paper & brushes available to artists such as Winslow Homer, JMW Turner and other luminaries of the time.
