This colorful box has a deluxe selection of 36 colors.
   All the original colors appear to be still in the box! Many are used some more so.         
Seeing some of the more unusual colors is a rare treat.

Antique watercolor box late 1800's
This colorful box has a deluxe selection of 36 colors.  All the original colors appear to be still in the box! Many are used , some more so.
 
   This lovingly used box & contents have a patina of scratches , scrapes, ink & paint stains.
All in a very good condition considering age.
 
   This fine mahogany box is 12" by 9 1/2" by 3 1/4" high
 
   The bottom drawer opens for the storage paper, which can be held shut with the original locking pin.
Included are:
A palette with "Reeves & Sons" mark
A water glass.
A period key which works the lock.
Two brushes & vine charcoal
 
 
 
A very intriguing and delightful antique!
This would make a fantastic & historical gift for an artist or art collector.
