The Green family began making paper in 1813 and closed the mill in 1987.

A great art paper also useful for restoration of works on this paper.
Watermark photo was taken with light coming through back of paper makes paper look a different color
than its beautiful light grey color.

A fine laid paper with a light buttery cream color

A great laid texture used for books and highly regarded for restoration.

than its beautiful buttery cream color.
HAND-MADE Wove paper
A fine wove paper with a light blue grey color

I believe this paper was called "Turner Grey" or "Turner Blue"
A great art paper also useful for restoration of works on this paper.

hand made at the Hayle Mill, England
100%cotton with a beautiful near white color
140lb Cold (not hot) pressed.
Imperial size -approximately 22 1/2 x 31
J. Green & Sons
This paper is a waterleaf -unsized, for printmaking.
It is not sized for watercolor.
It can be used for some types of drawing.
This is a legendary paper considered one of the finest for printmaking.
The Mill closed in 1987 and remaining unused papers like this are highly sought after throughout the world.
Also used for restoration of works on this paper.

A fine wove paper with a dark buff color
The top sample is "rugged" texture the watermark is on a slightly smoother Not pressed texture
